We were given the opportunity of introducing a beautiful new hardwood that is as hard as maple, yet matures four times faster than most other hardwoods. Oh, and even better news, these trees are planted along with other indigenous trees to preserve the native ecosystem on previously abused land. Helping protect the rain forests is a pretty good gig.
